Dublin Bay Socks

Hey everyone, This is another sock I am working on It is the Dublin Bay socks that can be found on Ravelry.

knitting words

I am reading a knitting mystery called "While my pretty one knits" and in it I found two words I like.

the first one is UFO's - UnFinished Objects. (there are definatly some ufo's at my house)

and the second one I liked is the word "Tink" it is knit spelled backwards used to describe stitches that needed to be pulled out.

Fellowship of the Quill Picnic

What a gorgeous day for a picnic, the sun is shining and the boats have a taken there spots on the water for the sail boat race, Friends gather together to have a good time and enjoy each others company.

First complete pair of socks.

Well I made it through and now have my very first complete pair of socks. Yay!!!!!!!!!! You all are probably thinking , it is so about time. And yeah you're telling me. These were the socks that never end. It was fun though..

What is it about a room filled with knitters that makes you feel comfortable enough to be yourself , to open up with anything on your heart to talk about? We as knitters share a bond that tends to be unbreakable because we are not only knitters , we are friends. And how wonderful it is to be able to do that and not feel like people are looking down upon you. It is good to be who you are, where you are.

I am not sure why that was on my heart and why I posted it but I did and that is me. Its who I am .

Our knit in public day was a success and a lot of fun. Thank you to all who came out on this beautiful day(the rain that was to come was nice to stay away). It was fun to get together with friends and even made some new friends. Hope you all had a great time and I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday night. I also look forward to getting to know my new friends. And I almost forgot Jack was there to , what a cutie pie....Thank you so much Laurie for letting us knit at your place and for the music.!!!!!!!!

It was another great night knitting with the ladies. How fun. It has been a lot of fun getting to know them all and meeting new ladies who come.
